AJEGUNLE TO THE WORLD is a project that is beyond just showcasing talents of the old and new but also to expose to people all over the country, the distinguished multi-farious culture, ethnicity and people of Ajegunle that has played a major role in the development of the entertainment industry from music, football, movie etc.

The modern day music industry was built on the benchmark set by the Ajegunle legend Daddy Showkey who made ground breaking records in his prime and also exposed the popular dance known as “Galala” of which still trends till present.

The Unbeatable Spotlight

This project will put Ajegunle on the spotlight again as the hub for talents and with a steady growing population of over 1million residence, it has produced some of the notable known characters, among who are Daddy Showkey, Basket Mouth, Don Jazzy, KC, Presh, Frank Idoho (Who Wants To Be a Millionaire ), Oritisfemi, Solid Star, Saidi Osupa, Godwin Okeke, Charles Okafor, J-Pizzle, Marvelous Benji, Pencil, OPJ, The Prince , Stereo Man, Danfo Driver, Baba Fryo and footballers like Odion Ighalo, Obafemi Martins, Ifeanyi Odeyemi, Taribo West, Samson Siasia, Jonathan Akpoborie, Victor Agali and more.

Ajegunle as the name implies in Yoruba language, where the name was derived from means a place where riches dwells. In other words a land with raw and untapped

  • To celebrate and be a part of the Ajegunle’s success story.
  • To empower and educate youths from Ajegunle by activating and encouraging them to embrace positivity
  • To implement business orientation program that will be spear headed by business icons, reputable musician, producers etc in a one-day seminar on how they can also be an agent of change, be better and successful people.
  • To partner with existing developmental bodies and the Lagos state government through the LCDA to ensure that our course is well rooted in Ajegunle community and established as a medium for societal development
  • To empower young aspiring football players by creating an avenue to learn from successful footballers which will also end in a novelty game to relish the experience.
  • To run a massive music campaign with a theme song produced by reputable producers and music legends from ajegunle.
  • To create a well packaged TV documentary series showcasing the culture, music, struggle in Ajegunle thereby projecting a positive orientation throughout the world.
  • And above all to expose Ajegunle to the world.
